7. Type of Music that you hate - I used to love rap music but not anymore. There’s just too much violence, swearing, profanity and cursing. I also don’t like pretentious music or artists who just copy whatever’s popular in the US.

I just want to make sure that I look good especially now that I have a toddler who loves to mess up my hair and pull / tug my blouse, LOL. Window Treatments

I’ve always wanted to try horizontal fabric window blinds on our windows. I saw some model units at the mall and the blinds that they used really made a huge difference in the living room. It looks so chic and cozy at the same time. Unlike wooden blinds, the natural light can still get through to add that glowing soft warmth to the room. It’s a great window treatment alternative plus you can still enjoy total privacy. I would go for darker or bolder shades though because I’m planning to paint our walls either light tan or beige.

Huwaawwww

Saw this last Sunday at SM Makati.

Naglaway kami parehas ni Sherwin. The LCD TV is so slim! Potek!

Our condo is not that big so we need to do what we can to maximize the space.

Aargghh, I want it soooo bad. The price is unacceptable, though. Php60k for a TV set? We’re not rich! But I so love it that it’s starting to occupy my dreams. I hope the price will go down dramatically next year when we start buying appliances.

Celebrities and Drug Rehabs

I came across a ridiculous article featuring the most famous drug rehabilitation centers that celebrities go to. Given the way celebrities go in and out of rehabs, I can safely say that putting up a drug rehab center can be a very lucrative business. I can’t say it’s helping the celebs, though. They probably think going to rehab is the same as giving yourself a break after “working so hard”. I see a lot of photos (from the paparazzis) of celebrities shooting coke while hanging out. Are they so bored with their famous lives that they need to get high? If someone is suffering from drug addiction, I strongly suggest that they find a drug rehab that CAN actually help them address their addiction problem. Enrolling yourself in a sophisticated and posh drug rehab center so you can say that you’re getting help just simply won’t cut it.

Who doesn’t like bargains? I’m so addicted to buying baby stuff online because of the discounts that I get from coupons. I learned about RetailMeNot just recently and decided to signup for the “Hot coupons” newsletter. They send the latest and highest rated coupons to your email and you have an option to receive coupon alerts on a specified shop. The ratings come from users to help others how they are saving.

My sister-in-law gave birth last week so I’m browsing through Babiesrus Coupon Codes as usual to see what I can get for the new baby. I know I should be shopping for them but my eyes kept on wandering to toddler sections. There are lots of promo codes for potty trainers, wooden beds and cute table and chair sets. Even my friend got some amazing deals using their travelocity coupon code.

Keeping the pesky bugs out

We’ve been having some problems with flies on our kitchen for the past week. Blame it to the fact that our household is getting bigger and it’s hard to pinpoint which helper is not doing her job to keep the place clean. I came across a website selling Folding Screen Doors and realize that this could be a solution to our fly problem. It keeps the house cool without worrying about pesky bugs entering. The website is also selling double and single garage screens so you can keep your doorways open and let the fresh air in.
