What’s up?

Things are not that good this morning - from dry season opps to minor household problems to design projects that has to be converted yesterday. The only bright side is that Sandy just woke up from her 10-hour sleep so she’s very energetic, happy and not at all clingy. I love seeing her beautiful, smiling face especially in the mornings. She will dance and sing to me while pulling my hand so we can start her day either by cooking in her kitchen or reading a book. Yet as much as I want to play with her, we need to pay the bills. So instead of going with her to the other room, I slowly remove my hand from her tight hold and let her yaya distract her so I can leave. It’s heartbreaking.

I’m so uninspired today.

I’ve been seeing a lot of thread about aggressive investments and one of them are stock options trading. I admit that I don’t really know anything about it but that won’t stop me from wanting to learn more. There’s a site called Power Options that offers several resources on stock trading. A closer look

That’s all. Have a good evening people!

A bit late for my morning greetings

Hello friends! Hope you had a nice weekend!

We spent our Saturday at home just watching DVDs and playing with the little girl. It was fun and relaxing to just hang out and do nothing. (When I say nothing, it means watch and chase Sandy.)

We promised Sandy that we would go to Serendra and try the famous Sonja’s cupcakes. We went there yesterday after her nap and immediately checked out the store. The cupcakes are definitely to-die for. Love their creme brulee! The husband didn’t enjoy it as much because he was busy taking photos. Sandy, as predicted, had a blast running around the grassy area. I tried not to chase her but she just runs so fast while looking backwards.

Here’s a preview:

Our little girl ran around and tried to interact with the other kids for about an hour or more. I knew she was tired when she agreed to ride her go-go car (umbroller). Sherwin ate at Chelsey and I chased Sandy(again) while trying to feed her. She’s such a picky eater these days :( She also hates sitting for more than 20 minutes, which explains the chasing.

There were a lot of high-end stores and I could tell from my mother-in-law’s face that she feels like a little girl inside a big toy store, LOL. Some of the stores were having a sale and she bought some golf apparel ladies for her friend’s birthday next week.

It was a good Sunday all in all. I will definitely ask hubby to visit Serendra again even if the restaurants were a bit crowded and too expensive for a Sunday early dinner.

This is what’s keeping her busy

No, it wasn’t Barney. Not even a green-colored Barney can keep her away from her new toy.

Her lola bought her this kitchen set because she believes that Sandy needs to play using her imagination. I was hesitant at first because I thought it was too grown-up for her. Boy, was I wrong!

I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.

Good mawnin

Good morning friends! I know I’ve been neglecting my blog (translation: no post in one day) but I’m just really busy with design projects lately. I just received a design request for an automotive detailing supplies company and I need to study their site today. The good news is I earned enough for our Bohol Trip this coming November. Yeah! I even booked the tickets yesterday. All I need to do now is make a reservation at the Bohol Beach Club.

Anyway, thanks for visiting my site! I will reply to all your comments as soon as I can. I miss reading your blogs too so expect a visit from moi today! :)

May we all have a creative and productive day!

Big Big Eyes

Ooopps I almost forgot to blog. Good morning people! I’m a very busy busy busy lady today so let me just leave this photo for now.

Any idea what’s keeping her busy in this picture?

Will post later!

Computers and junk

My mom-in-law is looking to buy new office furniture next week. She’ll definitely sell some of her old stuff and I’m thinking of getting her office table to replace mine. I need a place for my router, dsl modem, headphones, LCD monitor, desktop, laptop, chargers, cellphones, papers and other kinds of trash that you can think of. I’m not really in to compact computer tables so hers will definitely serve its purpose in accommodating all my junk.

Now that I’ve thought about it, I’m not sure exactly where I will put my work area in our new home. I’ll cross the bridge when I get there, LOL.

Making up for lost time

Another post for me LOL. I’m definitely on a roll. Aside from lack of sleep and the pain from my wrist, I can say that the weekend went alright. Sandy and I spent our whole Saturday playing. I didn’t use the computer except when I was trying to show her hi5 videos at youtube. The husband was out, shooting some photos at Wawa Dam and Avilon Zoo so it was definitely a mother and daughter bonding moment.

Sunday was RVs birthday (Sherwin’s youngest brother) and we went to Red Crab to have lunch. There was a small group of musicians playing and the little girl was mesmerized. They were playing jazz and she just loved dancing and swaying her body to the music. She probably had a blast seeing someone play a saxophone for real. It was an uneventful lunch, thank God, because she behaved and ate her meals sitting down. She kept on saying “watermelon only” whenever I try to feed her something else for dessert. (For some reason, I can’t find our camera so I’ll just post the photos later)

After lunch, we went to Rustan’s Makati to buy her new clothes and shoes. We spent almost all my blogging earnings for the month of July and that’s a lot! The clothes at Gingersnaps are just so fab that it took me one and a half hour just browsing the store. The other hour was spent trying to convince Sandy to try the outfitS (yes, that many) when all she wants to do is run around the store, giving her papa a headache by chasing her. We bought her an umbroller too because we just can’t see carrying her all the time. We call it the “Go go car” (her term for F1 cars) to make her excited enough to ride it. (I hope!) Bought two pairs of shoes- gold sandals from Tarte Tatin and light purple Crocs. Hay, thank God for paid blogging. I’ll have to sell her old baby stuff by the way to give space to the new clothes.

Could be a happy place

My mom found a new job as a sales rep for a real estate in Makati. She showed me their properties in Tagaytay and I just can’t help but dream about them. The houses are so big with lots of play area for the kids. One property has its own outdoor kitchen, overlooking Taal volcano. If only we can live there, you know? I think Sandy and I can, given that I work from home. The husband will have to commute everyday though and that will be just an additional stress for him. Sigh. Just thinking of waking up every morning to a fresh, cold air makes me want to buy a place in Baguio where it’s cheaper.

Trivia: Do you know that I actually have a smile on my face whenever I put a smiley face on my comments?

No quick way

I’ve been convincing the husband to get back into shape. He has been feeling a lot of pain in his back, knees and feet. It’s probably because he’s getting too heavy and of course, the fact that he has been under a lot of stress at work doesn’t help at all. He wants to try losing weight by taking diet pills for the mean time because he just doesn’t have time to work out. Then, when he’s a bit lighter, he’ll use the treadmill to lose the remaining weight.

All I can say is- promises, promises. LOL.

On moving

We all know how hard it is to move to a new place. There’s a lot of decision-making involved and can be very stressful. You need to decide whether you will bring the huge cabinet with you or sell / give it away to charity. And if you’re a neat freak like me, you will want to organize and label all your boxes to make sure you know where to find your stuff. There’s also the hesitation of starting over in a strange and new neighborhood without any friends. And if these are not enough to dampen your excitement, there’s a long list of moving companies that you need to review first. I’ve heard many horror stories about people losing important stuff while moving or finding out that their most cherished furniture is broken.

If you’re looking for tips on what you should do before you move, check out Relocation.com. They provide all the necessary resources to help you on your big move. They believe that everything will work out, as it should if things have been planned carefully. By approaching a wide variety of topics, their moving guides can assist you better when relocating with Family, Pets, and Plants among others. Your most powerful tool is to be knowledgeable about moving issues such as basic costs, packing, auto transports and contractors. By dealing with these beforehand, you will definitely save a lot of time of energy so you can concentrate on more important things.

You might also want to check out their other sites; www.carmovers.com for your auto shipping needs and www.internationalmLinkovers.com for a list of international movers.
