Goodbye ‘Arry

Not exactly a candidate for the best mommy and wife award, I’ve been ignoring Sandy and The Husband for the past couple of days because of Harry Potter books 1-7. I feel a bit sad now that I’m halfway done with the Deathly Hallows. It just means that I won’t be reading about potter and his gang anymore. This is how I feel whenever I’m about to finish a book. I feel like they are a part of me (Time Traveler’s Wife, Griffin and Sabine) and that I’m not just closing the book but I’m actually saying goodbye to a new friend. Sigh. I’m being overly dramatic, I know! But that’s me. As much as I hate to part with Harry, I don’t know if I can delay finishing the book tonight. I’m just so excited to see how it goes, especially after reading a review that some of the Weasleys died.

I was able to watch Order of the Phoenix by the way. I can’t help but feel disappointed on the fight scenes, etc. I particularly liked the revolving doors at the ministry of magic (from the book) and was a bit frustrated that it was not shown in the movie. Oh well, that’s how it is when books are being turned into movies. A good movie nonetheless. :) Looking forward to the next but with low expectations.
