Blogging For Money
I always receive comments and questions from other moms on how they can get paid for blogging. The answer is simple, really. Technicalities aside, you must love to write about almost anything under the sun. There’s no better feeling than getting paid doing what you love. And since most of these visitors already have a blog, it’s safe to say that they at least show interest in writing.
The next step now is to signup in a company that offers paid blogging services like Smorty. Smorty connects the advertisers with bloggers like me so we can write our opinion about a company’s product and service. Signing up is free but your blog needs to meet certain criterias in order to get approved – needs to be indexed by Google and Yahoo, must be older than 3 months, must be active and does not contain duplicate posts or excessive content. I’ve been writing for Smorty for almost 6 months and can’t say anything bad about them. The supply of paid tasks is regular and there was never any delay in the payments. The assignments are targeted for each blogger to better serve the advertisers. Even if your friend received a certain assignment, that doesn’t mean you will receive it too if you have a different set of readers.

Why to blog for money? I think it is better to have your own blog, write only about that you like and what you know and have total control on everything. This way you can make even more money than helping other do.. Just a thought..
Heya Funner! You’re right about that one but if you can earn money while blogging, then why not? I mean, you still have total control on everything because it’s your blog after all. You don’t have to take an assignment if the subject makes you uncomfortable.
