Going under the knife is just so common in Hollywood that celebrities often forget to check the credibility and history of the plastic surgeons. Just look what happened to Donda West, Kanye West’s mother. She died at 58 years old after experiencing several complications from her recent surgical procedure. As if putting your life in somebody else’s hand isn’t scary enough to make you think twice and do your research properly when it comes to finding the right surgeon. I doubt I’ll ever undergo any surgery but if you’re one of those who strive to achieve perfection, better do your homework first before getting into something you might regret in the long run.

There’s a website called Trusted Surgeons who performs an extensive research on over 14,000 plastic surgeons in the U.S so they can include them in their network. TrustedSurgeons.com actively investigate the plastic surgeons using three criteria – education, certification and track record. Their database is constantly updated and in fact, actually removed more than two-thirds of the names because of lack of training and board certification. To know if the website that you’re visiting are trusted plastic surgeons, just look for the TrustedSurgeons seal and you can be assured that you’re going to the right place. The surgeons don’t pay any membership fees to be included in the network. All they have to do is have the right education, certification, a good track record and they’re in.
