My Purchases
Good morning to all!
Here’s my kwento as requested and promised. We went to Richwell bodega sale around 10AM. There weren’t a lot of people then and I kept on telling my sister-in-law not to expect anything. But gosh when I saw how big the place was, I just can’t help but gush and sigh hahaha. That’s really what happened. The Husband immediately went to the cars section while my sister-in-law and I went to the “old” toys. The old toys are old, yes, but I see that most of them are what’s currently being sold at the malls including Rustans. Most of them have broken and dusty boxes. The items inside are dusty as well, but since I really like the singing Barney, I checked if I can clean the dust using my alcogel and was happy to know that it’s really just dust. The price of that Barney I think is around 1800++ but they are selling it from 400-800 including the dancing Elmo.
I hoarded about four Vtech laptops and two Barbie laptops just to make sure that I won’t miss out on anything. I won’t buy all of them of course, but their prices ranges from 1000-1500 only (original price 2700++) and if budget permits, I might buy two. I then bought Barbies, Bratz, Barbie activity sets, all of them at 50% off. There were lots of Fisher Price items as well, from newborn to toddler toys. There were items from Little Tikes - big playhouses, desk, chairs, castles, cars, bikes, name it they have it! I saw Sandy’s dream playhouse but it was still too expensive for me, plus it’s huge and we don’t have a space for it. I didn’t see the Barbie Playhouse though but there were castles, cars, gameshow set, and ballroom for Barbies. Grabe, I feel like a kid again, I tell you! The Chicco stuff is also nice. Like I said, some of them look old because of the boxes and dust but they are exactly the ones that are being sold at the malls. There were Dora items (I bought another Dora tent LOL), hotwheels, carebears, etc.
Since we’re giving the items as gifts, we bought some of our items from the new section. The boxes here looks new and clean but they only offer it at a 20% discount. I bought only four items from this section; I’m on a budget of course. When we went outside, I checked the receipt to make sure that the 20% discount is there for the new items. To my surprise, three of the NEW items that we bought had a discount of 50%! The Php1,000 telescope was slashed down to Php 450. Sherwin went inside again to buy another one for Sandy but didn’t find any left. In short, pakyawan to the MAX!
All in all, we bought a total of 17 items. All of them are working except for Sandy’s laptop. She loved it pa naman 
She can play the games but not all the keys are working. I’m going to return it this week (the girl said I can) and buy more stuff bwahahha.
There are lots of baby stuff as well - pumps, bottles, baby shoes, safety items, strollers, cribs, umbrollers, high chairs, potty trainers. There are tons of Chicco and Barbie clothes, shirts, shoes, with prices ranging from 150-400.
Tip lang: Bring baby wipes or wet ones. When you see an item that you like, grab it asap or you will never see it again haha. The later the hour, the cheaper the price gets. One of them even said it will get cheaper on December but I’m worried that all the good ones are gone by that time. I noticed that I keep seeing new items every hour. Which means they probably still got loads of stuff hidden somewhere LOL.
So goodluck to everyone! Don’t expect too much when you go there so you will be surprised when you see how good the items are.

aggie yung from little tikes ba? as in yung totoong bahay…. may 20k at may 10k. napakamahal noH? pero mga 5k-7k un nakita ko dun kasi discounted nga. kung may lugar lang kami binili ko na yun.

i have yet to start my shopping. wish ko lang i can reach richwell sale but i doubt it. two years nako nagplaplan to go there but di parati natutuloy ….
wow ang dami nyong napamili! i think i went there already 2 years ago and i was so happy din with the toys that I’ve bought. I was even pregnant then and can you imagine, buhat-buhat ko ung mga toys. LOL!
good thing you were able to go, joy! baka bumalik din ako this weekend.
i missed out on the little tikes and v-tech toys.

exciting kaso next year sana meron pa nyan kasi di pa naman aliw bilhan ng toys si dustin at his age eh.

Two years ago, I was able to buy Chicco slide 6ft height at P7.5K .. aliw di ba! Sadly, naiwan ko din sa old house namin kasi we got no space available for that big slide.
I wanted to get the play house naman..pero lagi ako nauubusan ng pre-schools. Hopefully, may makuha ako this year! Hahaha!

So is Richwell Sale the new Quiapo now ? I remember accompanying my Mom to a shop in quiapo run by a toy importer. The guy supplies Toy Kingdom and we’d be able to get the latest toys for a much lower-than-retail price.

peachy baka nga hikain sya. though nung nagpunta kami medyo maluwag naman and di masyadong maalikabok pa kaya naisip ko din na pde pala isama si sandy. kaso nga wag na lang din lol saka baka di ka makahoard maayos haha
