I Almost Forgot
There’s another holiday to look forward to - New Year! The Husband have temporarily swore off shopping malls so we’re not buying anything until January LOL. However, we do need polka dots so I might head to the mall this weekend to find some cheap outfits for Sandy and me.
I WON!
When I saw Litzie’s message on my cbox, I got a bit excited wondering what was it that she wanted to show me. I went to her site without knowing what to look for exactly. I scanned it quickly and saw my name written on a small sheet of paper. My heart jumped! I’m the winner of the $10 prize from her RAK. I didn’t even know there was a contest so I was sooo pleasantly surprised. I rarely win anything on raffles so it was a nice start to my day.
Again, thank you Litzie! I’ll try to do something similar here in my blog to keep the love flowing.
Last Night
Sandy received another toy last night from her Ninang Tere. It’s a Play Doh barbecue which she immediately opened. She hated the feel of clay at first and even tried tasting it.
It was fun seeing the gang again especially Tere who has been working in Singapore for about a year now. When Sandy saw her Ninang, she said “Hiiiiiii!!!” in such a very excited voice. We were surprised because it usually takes about 30 minutes before she warms up to anyone. She also chatted non-stop with her Tita Preck, Tito Cliff, Tita Lorna and Kuya Nico and showed them her famous Papaya dance.

Slow
Things have been really slow since Christmas. There’s not enough work to get busy with and I’m usually lazing away with the little girl, playing with her new toys. My assignments have expired over the last three days so I’m now trying to grab some. Sandy is asleep, thank God after an hour of nursing / carrying. It’s so hard to put her down once she’s asleep. It’s like watching a funny movie where the character moves so slow in order not to wake up the other person. And just when I thought that it’s okay to remove my arm from her head, she will open her eyes and we’ll start all over again. We’re meeting my friend from Singapore in two hours and it could be a long night, for her at least.

Christmas Update
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you had a blast! Ours was amazing even though I wasn’t able to push through with some of my plans (wear santa outfit for Sandy, put up Christmas socks). We have tons of pictures so expect this blog to be flooded by them until January 2008 The photos below were taken on Christmas eve after the mass. Sandy didn’t sleep until 2AM because she was so high and happy from all the gifts that she got. Her current favorite is the fairy wand from Bel.

On Christmas day, we just visited my parents house. We were very tired and didn’t have the strength to go anywhere else so we decided to go home early. Almost all of the gifts have been given away except for a few that I’m not sure if we’ll ever have time to meet. We’re sooo poor right now but very happy!

There’s a reason why disposable gloves are called disposable. That reason was not known to our helper who has been using the same “disposable” glove for over three months now. I only found out about it last week when we’re having our annual general cleaning. The gloves are all tattered and covered with God-knows-what. Even the foams that we use for washing the dishes are in the same state. Que Horror! To think we have loads of stock in our cabinet for future use. I just hope she’s not using it on Sandy’s plates because I always buy a separate dishwashing liquid and foam for the little girl’s utensils alone.

I wonder if we have Ogio items here? We need to buy a gift for The Husband’s uncle and since he likes golf, we’re thinking of buying him a nice cap or accessory bag. I found a nice goggle box online for only $19.95 but I’m not sure if we can find something similar locally.

Sandy didn’t sleep the whole day so she’s now sleeping like a log. Which means ….. I’m free!!! Gosh I don’t know what to do first -blog hop, blog or window shop online LOL
We’re not going to work tomorrow because we’re going shopping, AGAIN! What a glorious month it is hahaha. Bought myself a denim mini-skirt today and will buy the reddish suspender at Pink Soda tomorrow to match my red open toed shoes hihi.
Now, it feels like Christmas.
