Limping on toddlers

Sandy has been limping for the last three days so we went to her pedia to have it checked. She has no fever and doesn’t seem to be in pain. I know when she’s feeling bad because she won’t stop whining about it. Her pedia didn’t see anything unusual too but referred us to a neurologist just to be sure. We’re scheduled to see the neurologist tomorrow so I’ve decided to research the net on some possible worst case scenarios.

I saw this, this and this. I tried not to let these information bother me but I’m only human. Now I know why you shouldn’t research the Internet about sickness.

I’m already scared enough as it is and reading those articles didn’t help at all.

    nagkaganyan din si estong. medyo pangit kasi yung pagkabagsak nya nung nadapa sya.. baka naman nadapa or natapilok si sandy. mawawala din yan in a few days (baka a week) pero si estong, kahit wala na masyado sakit, nagli-limp pa din, siguro natatakot, pero later on nawala na din..

    hope sandy is okay.. Andres was limping all of a sudden din for days.. tapos nawala lang.. feeling namin gingaya niya yung walking nung sa movie na “happy feet”.. but to be sure pacheck na din.. when we were about to go to his pedia bigla normal walking na and no “happy feet”movie for him muna :)

    its really scary to be clueless, especially pagdating sa mga anak natin. kung sa akin din nangyari, i’d be hounding google like crazy with research. it’s better to be prepared for anything than to have no knowledge whatsoever. i’m going to pray for sandy na this won’t be anything serious. *hugs*

    naku Pam, wish ko lang ganito rin si sandy. kaso I’m sure she’s not copying anyone. we’re still observing her for 2-3 days, hoping that the limp will go away

    no jane, she didn’t fall. i asked her teachers and wala rin sila matandaan na nalaglag si sandy.
