Sandy’s First Linggo ng Wika

I can’t believe I missed Sandy’s first performance in school. I was told that parents are not allowed inside so I just took a few photos of Sandy before she went to school last Friday. After five minutes, I received a text from Sandy’s yaya that there were lots of parents inside the school so the teachers are letting them join the event after all. Thank God her school is only three minutes away so I didn’t miss a lot. When I reached their school, Sandy’s yaya told me that the toddlers performed paa-tuhod (my toes, my knees) already. There were only four students in the toddlers class and two of them threw tantrum so only Sandy and her other classmate were left on stage. I felt like crap because I didn’t see it. I updated The Husband through text so he can join my misery LOL.

They were also asked to bring lots of Filipino food so the place is overflowing with suman, sapin-sapin, biko, pancit, etc. I wasn’t sure if I should feed Sandy these so it was fortunate that one parent brought two boxes of doughnuts.

Isn’t school just great? This makes me want to re-consider taking another online degree to broaden my skills and fatten up my resume.
