Sandy’s Turn to Get Sick

With all the kids getting sick here and there, I wasn’t surprised when Sandy had fever last night. Before we started our nighttime routine of projector, story and songs, The Husband noticed that her nose was clogged. So we sprayed her nose and turned off the lights so we can watch the slides. She fell asleep without any problems but after two hours, she was tossing and turning in her sleep. When I touched her, she was really hot. We woke up, gave her tempra and sponge bath while watching Harry Potter 1. Thank God for Harry Potter. Whenever she’s sick, her DVDs always make her feel better if not totally well. We slept for five hours after that, which explains my dizziness. I’m not going to work today (if I can help it) so I can spend time with Sandy and get some sleep too. She’s still running a low fever and I really hope that this is just because of the weather. I’m already too paranoid about dengue after The Husband’s recent hospitalization.

    Kakaparanoid nuh? Si Dustin nga may 2 kagat when we got home susko para ako sira na hinahawakan sya kagabi at baka may lagnat, takot talaga ako sa dengue eh. Nung bat akami lagi kaming may Dengue.

    naku sana gumaling na si sandy.. nakaka-praning talaga. si estong din pina-check ko yesterday kasi dumadalas na naman ang ubo.. ayun, nadagdagan yung dose nya ng seretide. pareho kaming naka-maintenance for asthma.. :(
