Sleepyhead

Sandy didn’t take a nap yesterday so I was hoping she’ll sleep longer last night. At 10PM, she was sleeping like a log so I was happy. However, she woke up at 5AM and just played for five hours until it was time for her to go to school. When she got home, her yaya was laughing so I asked why. I was worried that Sandy will be too sleepy to eat lunch when she gets back but I was wrong. Turned out, she had her much needed rest after all – she fell asleep in school! How weird is that? I didn’t know if I’ll laugh or pity her. My poor baby!! She must be really exhausted.

Her teacher said that Sandy was looking for her yaya. When her yaya came inside the room, she asked to be carried and in about two minutes, she was asleep and SNORING! Her yaya woke her up when it was snack time. She wanted to continue sleeping but decided to eat since this is her 2nd favorite thing to do lately. Anyway, I still can’t help but laugh (and feel bad at the same time) just thinking about it.

She’ll have her birthday party in school tomorrow and I’m hoping she really can attend this time.

    there are times sophia is like that too, super konti ng tulog pero never pa naman nakatulog sa school. but super sleepy na talga when she gets home that she wont eat her lunch na. milk na lang…

    You will experience more dramatic kindergarten days especially during field trip and excursions with the class. I have been a mom since 1983. My 2 young boys aged 19 and 21 are still with us, both single, and I thank God for all those wonderful bonding preparatory years in school with both of them. nice day
