Decisions
I got a huge design project request and I don’t know if I should accept it. Let’s say the pay is enough even if I stop working for 6 months. The thing is I just started on my new job and although things are pretty slow, I need to learn a few applications. That combined with my other side projects, I don’t think I’d even have time to take a bath, let alone play with Sandy.
Well, I’ll just have to decline. The offer is unbelievable but I need to be a mother too.

Shopping For Sandy
As promised, I’m blogging about Sandy’s online shopping spree. My first loot was posted here. These toys were originally for our Boracay trip but since the box has been delayed, I’ve decided to wrap them up and add it to her Christmas gifts.

… before weekend update.
But honestly, I’m just too tired and lazy.
On a Friday
So many things have been happening lately. To end this week, I’ll do a quick summary of my life for the past two weeks.
I got a new job. It’s exciting, it’s cool. It’s also scary because it was three years ago since I worked with more than 50 people. I have to wake up at 6:45 AM for our schedules to cross and for the last two days, I’ve been doing nothing but wonder if I’m doing a great job.
I’m shopping online like there’s no tomorrow. I posted my first loot here when I shopped with Peachy. There’s still another huge box just for me, waiting to be shipped from Glo’s place. I will post here some of the stuff that I bought for Sandy too. They’re all cheap that’s why it was so hard to stop. Right now I’m looking for Dansko footwear for my brother because I heard he’s planning to buy one.
My molar is hurting. I don’t want to go the dentist. Please don’t make me. When I had a cleaning last August, she said I have to come back in two weeks and get some fillings. But I didn’t come back of course. And now it’s very uncomfortable especially when I’m eating something cold/hot.
Sandy had another batch of exams this week. It was easy but her yaya said she didn’t finish her coloring exam because she was busy showing off to her teachers. Instead of doing her stuff, she kept telling them all the colors in Filipino (kahel, kayumanggi, luntian, bughaw).
As for this weekend, I’m going shopping again. Need to buy gifts for the upcoming Christmas parties with my fellow bloggers. Can’t wait!
When I’m a Gwown Up
A Sandy update.

Her latest favorite thing to say:
“When I’m a Gwown Up” or “When I’m Older”, I will …
Wear earrings like Ate Arlyn (her yaya)
Put on my make up and lipstick
Reach the ceiling and say Yeeeeyyyyy!
Buy a necklace and wear it like a princess
Use mommy’s laptop and touch Papa’s camera
Drink soda
Climb up the stairs on my own
Wear my gold sandals everyday
Be a lawyer like Lola
Wear a scarf and a princess dress
Wear boots and go to the office
Believe me, they all came from her. She reminds me everyday that these are what she plans to do when she’s older. Such big plans for her future. LOL. I told her that before she can wear earrings, the doctor will use an injection to put a hole in her ears. She said, “okay, necklace na lang.”
Bribery Works
I’m willing to do anything just to make The Husband more excited about losing weight. I even paid for the treadmill repair even if I’m not planning to use it anymore. Aside from losing weight, I believe running will keep him energized in the morning and help him function better the whole day. So I promised I’ll get him a PSP IF he continues to hit the treadmill everyday. He has been running straight this week even without my “encouraging words”. When I learned this from Sandy’s yaya (I ask for detailed reports on his exercise schedule), I was so happy. He’s keeping his word to become healthy the natural way. This means no diet pills, diet shakes or fasting. Since I have no one else to share my joy that moment, I told Sandy we need to buy something for her Papa because he’s a good boy. She got excited and practiced what she was going to say the whole day. When her Papa came home, she immediately blurted, “Papa, mommy will buy you PSP if you exercise everyday”. Then she smiled at him as if his Papa did something really good.
Wishlist MAX
As you may already know, I’ll be attending two Christmas parties for bloggers this October. This explains why my blog is filled with wish lists. To make it easier for people to buy our presents. When I visited other blogs however, I noticed that some of the wish lists were way above the budget. I’ve decided to do the same here, only way more expensive LOL. Aside from my real wish lists (see other posts), here are more items that I hope I can get this Christmas.
A designer handbag – LV Speedy or Gucci Joy Boston will do

New cell phone – Nokia 71 (Love your phone Mich!) So I can read my ebooks on a bigger screen
Or Nokia N96

24″ iMac 3.06GHz – of course, you already know that

I’ve been seeing cheap Vegas vacations or Hawaii getaways online so add them to the mix as well.
A PC tablet – just because it’s cool.
MBAP Party Wish List
Sandy’s wish list for MBAP’s Christmas Party
(Wala na ko maisip LOL.)
I’m not sure about the prices so any of these will do:
1. Cash register – the cheapest you can find
2. Bubble maker / Bubble machine – The ones that can make huge bubles
3. Nice tea set- so she can have tea time with her imaginary friends
If the above cost more than Php300:
4. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse activity books
5. Barbie Stickers with pad
Weekend Round Up 1006
The Husband just took Sandy to school for her 2nd exam so I’m going to make this quick. It will only take her 15 minutes and when she’s done, we need to go out and buy groceries.
I’m afraid I don’t have photos to share from Sandy’s school party. I forgot the battery of our DSLR and to make matters worse, the video cam died after 20 minutes of shooting. Good thing I was able to capture them practicing their dance for United Nations. Sandy fell asleep the first day of the practice. remember? So when they started practicing last Friday, Sandy was just looking at the teacher. That’s how she is when she’s trying to learn something. The next try, she already knows the steps and the words. I’m grinning from ear to ear because Sandy was so behaved, interacts with her classmates and follows instructions easily.
As for her party, I just ordered some food from Jollibee and bought tons of prizes – bubble makers, toy digital cameras, kaleidoscope, activity pads, etc. Then we made 22 lootbags for all the kids. It was fun but very tiring.
Saturday and Sunday was spent outside because her yaya is on leave. We spent money like there’s no tomorrow (that’s how I feel everytime we go out). This time, I’m very happy with our purchase because most of them were box organizers. We’re cleaning up our room and bookshelves so The Husband is pretty excited.
That’s about it. Doesn’t sound like much but we accomplished a lot.
