Our New Year
Sharing some photos from our New year’s eve.
Here’s Sandy waiting for the countdown to start. Her papa took care of her while I tried to help my mom-in-law in the kitchen. And by helping, I meant peeling the grapes (bwahaha), slicing carrots, onions, garlic, potato. But that was as far as I can go in the kitchen area. I’m just not that domesticated sorry.
Sandy helped too. She wanted to make a refrigerator cake just like the one that she made for her Papa before.
Our New Year’s eve dinner. The Husband took over (he’s 100x better at me). Loved the salad that he made! 
Dear cousin Chloe wasn’t able to make it but she since my mom spent New Year’s with us, Sandy didn’t mind.

I think I gained weight because my nose is much bigger here LOL. As soon as I saw these photos, I vowed to stop eating fruit salad every 30 minutes.
Our neighborhood
Looked peaceful at 8PM. We just bought fountains this year but luckily, there were enough fireworks to keep the sky bright, thanks to our neighbors. While my mother-in-law was throwing five-peso coins around the house and Sandy was shouting Happy New Year at the top of her lungs, I was silently wishing for more money this 2009. Mukhang pera no?
