Faster Claims with Electronic Medical Billing

I was reading an article today about reforming health care with electronic billing. It was my 50-year-old client who sent me the url because he wanted to ask if electronic medical billing is being implemented here. At first I couldn’t understand why he has to send it to me but then suddenly remembered our conversation / ranting sesssion on how slow insurance companies pay medical claims. We both had our own share of hospitalizations in the family last year and have the same issues when it comes to medical billing.

According to the article, Netalytics, a leader maker of automated clinic systems has chosen to implement a third party solution that is being offered by MPMsoft.

Their technology has been providing clinical efficiency for years and now, by adding eletronic medical billing to their software products, it’s now easier to convert patient billing data into electronic format that Medicare and Medicaid require. This cuts down their day to day electronic billing support so they can focus on other important things.

MPMsoft, by the way, is a national provider of medical biling software that help power Electronic Medical Record software (EMR), transmitting eletronic medical claims to medical insurance payers such as Medicare and Medicaid. With their software, companies can improve operational savings, enhance claims preparation, maximize cash flow and most importantly, shorten overall reimbursement cycle.
