WW – Little Doctor
She enjoys taking care of people including her dolls and stuffed toys. She wraps your hand so you can cover your “IV”, pats your back when you cough, puts thermometer on your armpit and gives you medicine to make the bad things go away. When she’s done with all that, she’ll tell you to be brave and that everything is going to be okay.
Tuesday To-Dos
Finish designing a website for a new client.
Submit final changes to a brochure that I’ve been working on for weeks.
Wrap up my Joomla project and help the client transfer the files to his server.
Study web hosting review websites for a new project that I will work on next month.
Start illustrations for a cartoon-themed website.
That’s a lot, I know. I don’t have to finish them all today but I need to get started at least. I’ve been slacking off for the past couple of days, just browsing web sites and watching DVDs. There’s one about Mesothelioma cancer that left me depressed the whole day so I had to watch cartoons afterwards to forget about it.
Online Learning
Capella University make it easy for undergraduates to finish their degrees through their online education system. Sandy’s Moving Up Day
Some photos from Sandy’s Moving Up day last March 16. There are more but let me leave you with these for now. I just want to have something up before March 31.

Before we leave the house.

After their musical. Getting ready for the march.

Our only family photo. Thanks to my mom who took this.
Hello Monday
I know I’ve been very bad in updating my blog. There’s just too many things happening offline that I can’t find time to update anymore. Believe me, I have a list of things that I want to say but until I can breathe again from too much work, they will remain uncrossed on my list. I echo The Husband’s sentiments about wanting to take a break from it all. But with expenses left and right, it’s just not possible. I often daydream of receiving a phone call that we won a very expensive vacation package complete with airfare, free hotel rooms, meals and tours. One of these days, it will come true. If not, then I might just give in and go away for a few days with the family. Sometimes, you need to pay for that much needed peace in your life.
Cash Now
Short in cash but payday is too far away? You might want to try your luck with paydayloansmania.com. Regardless on how you want to use it, the site offers Easy Payday Loans that can help you on your cash flow problem. It will only take you three minutes to fill out the application and wait for less than an hour to see if you’ve been approved. Spend it on your last minute travel plans, settle your kid’s educational plan or pay off your credit card debts. Even if you have a bad credit, your chances of getting approved is still high because they don’t ask for credit history.
Wordless Wednesday – Waiting for Ice Cream

Our Weekend at Sonya’s
Last Sunday, we went to Tagaytay to have lunch at Sonya’s bed and breakfast. Our shopping loots arrived so it became a mini-EB as well. Aggie, Kathy, Alpha, Litzie and Mai came with their families and we had an amazing time chatting, exchanging loots, getting tanned and having a photo shoot. I was afraid Sandy might throw tantrums because the weather was so hot and she was really sleepy. When she fell asleep in the car on our way to Taal Vista, The Husband said we should park for awhile and see if she will wake up. As soon as the car stopped, Sandy opened her eyes as if she smelled the horses. She didn’t even get angry for not being able to take a longer nap. That was how excited she was to ride them.

Having fun horseback riding
Me and Sandy
We also have amazing family photos (which I will post some other time) thanks to the paparrazzis
One thing I can say, it’s so much easy to travel when your kid is older. I can’t remember ever being stressed at all. Sandy was so behaved, just coloring in her seat or walking around while I talk to the other mommies or take photos. I have to thank The Husband too for being so supportive on my meet ups with online friends. This made me wonder if we can finally go on one of those Caribbean cruises that I can only dream of eversince I became a mom.
Sandy Practicing Her Tagalog
Just this afternoon, she came to me and said, “Mommy, let’s practice. You talk to me in Tagalog and I will talk in Tagalog also.”
Me: Hindi ka pa ba antok?
Sandy: Hindi ako po antok. Kasi po, ako hindi sleepy. So hindi ako tulog.
So…. I’m not sleepy. No no no, I mean … maya ako po tulog.
The first perfect sentence that she said in Tagalog today:
“Mama, ang liit pa ng tyan ko po”
I continued talking to her in Tagalog but she got tired and switched to English immediately. When I asked why, she said “Hindi ako alam Tagalog, English na lang.”
Summer Fashion
A friend of mine was wearing an Olukai sandals when I saw her last Saturday. I was not really a fan of slippers except for the occasional Havaianas but hers looked so feminine and comfortable with her white, flowing skirt. Since it’s summer already, I’m thinking of getting a pair for myself and for The Husband. I’m so over skinny jeans now because if you haven’t noticed, it’s freaking hot everywhere you go. My boots, closed shoes and tight clothes will have to hibernate for for two months.
And then I’ll have to fill my closet with these:

I am Dzoi, a 28 year old Filipina who currently works as a web designer. I am a loving wife to my equally loving husband Sherwin and a mommy cow to my 2-year-old daughter, Sandy.
