Hongkong Disneyland – Day 1
We went to HK Disney last Jan 28th. I loved the weather there, not too cold as I feared and just very comfortable. Sandy loved Disneyland so much and no matter how tired or aching her knees were, she still walked and walked and wouldn’t want to go back to our hotel in Disneyland Hollywood.
I like that my pregnancy wasn’t a hindrance at all to this travel. It’s Sandy’s last solo performance in the spotlight so we tried to make the most out of it.
Things I love:
The characters are just magical. Even adults will be mesmerized.
The shows – Golden Mickeys and Festival of the Lion King rules!
The weather, ramps for wheelchairs and strollers, small shops and Main Street
Things I hate:
The people. Ugh. So rude! They probably haven’t heard of falling in line before.
Expensive food. Okay, so there were plenty that costs 40-50HKD per meal but knowing The Husband and I, and now Sandy, it’s just not enough for us. We always end up eating at a restaurant or at the hotel which is really costly.
Disneyland was a little too expensive for me but seeing Sandy’s face light up whenever she sees a princess (more of this on Day 2) or any character, you’ll totally forget about the money. Her happiness is really priceless.
Here are some photos taken but you can browse for more on my Flickr account.

Women and Weight
Women struggle with weight all the time. If your extra weight is making you feel less confident or worse, affecting your health, you should consider changing your lifestyle. I love eating myself but I make sure that I get tons of exercise to burn all the fats. On some, diet plans and pills work but you have to research carefully before you try something new. You can learn more about weight loss pills and effective diets all over the Internet. There are also plenty of review websites and health blogs where you can read on the good and the bad. For quick results, pills have proven to be very effective but I would still suggest introducing healthy alternatives to your food and adding some exercise regimen for long term effects.
Winning Skin
I stumbled upon some differin reviews while browsing the web today. Seeing the words itchiness, dryness, irritation and peeling made me cringe automatically. I hate seeing that on people’s faces, let alone mine. Not that I have acne, but I do feel for those who have a bad case of acne. No matter how beautiful your features are, it simply ruins everything. Which is why I understand why people spend money on finding the best treatment. A clear, presentable face is definitely worth it.
Growing Pains
I saw a brochure about arthritis pain treatment from the mail this morning and wondered if I’ll ever need one in a couple of years. Before I got pregnant, I always feel pains all over my back and hands that my mom teases me that I’m too young to have arthritis. Seeing some of my aunties go through it, I know it’s not a laughing matter. If you’ll look at our drawers though, you’d see all kinds of pain relief creams you’d think there’s a 60-year-old living in our room. I couldn’t say I’m better now. All the pains that I feel, mostly on my lower back, I just blame it on my growing belly.
Exercising
My brother wanted me to read an article about no xplode review but told him I have no idea about strength training and all that. It’s like I’ll be doing any heavy exercise or rough activity any time soon! With only 4 months to go on my pregnancy, I’m taking it easy with everything. I sleep a lot, eat a lot (in a healthy way), enjoy activities that I know I wouldn’t have time to when the baby is here. I do exercise but according to baby blogs and forums, I’ll just have to limit it to light workout routines so as not to tire myself too much and the baby.
Skin Problems on Teens
One of the things teenagers has to go through is eczema. Why am I posting about that? It’s because a friend of mine just uploaded this huge batch of high school photos of us and I noticed that most of my friends have skin problems. It wasn’t a big deal back then though, when the only thing that matters is having fun. But it made me wonder if some of them had to undergo treatments? Comparing their faces now to their younger versions 15 yrs ago, I don’t see any traces of bad skin. Either their parents invested in good dermatologists or working hard has finally paid off because we can now all afford to get treatments left and right.
Gold Investing
One of the things I’d like to do this 2010 is to buy gold bullion. For thousands of years, gold has proven its stability and reliability in preserving one’s wealth. There’s no better way to protect your money against inflation than buying gold coins or bullion. It’s still valuable even if it breaks, melts or cools.
But just like every investment, it’s very important to do a thorough research before spending huge money. At UsGoldBureau website, you can learn all kinds of things related to gold investment. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned investor, you will benefit from the sites numerous articles and eventually learn that diversifying your portfolio is the safest way of growing your money.
