Latest Beach Getaway at Punta Fuego

As promised, here are some of our photos from our last beach getaway. We we’re lucky (again) to find that the Punta Fuego house for rent is still available on our desired dates. I was really looking forward to this trip because I’ve been working so hard and  need to cool down pretty bad. This time, we went with the in-laws (MIL’s early birthday celebration) and Chloe, much to Sandy’s delight.

We swam non-stop this time because the weather was perfect and the water was warm. The beach was good too. Although we didn’t swim, just being near the ocean was enough to keep the troubles away. :) There were lots of people swimming on the beach which made me glad that the house we rented had its own pool.

The most important thing from our vacation was that Sandy had the time of her life swimming with her cousin and her parents. It’s so rare that we spend time together without the distraction of iPods, TVs and PSPs. She also had so much fun with her attempts to build a sand castle. In fact, she kept asking me to go to the beach when there’s a very nice pool inside the house already.

We really had a blast! I hope we could go back there again soon. Food is very important whenever we travel and thanks to MIL, she bought enough groceries to feed an army. The place was complete with high-end electric grills and kitchen appliances so the home-cooked meals were all good.
