Healthy Thoughts
I’ve been hanging out at http://www.coloncleanserreview.net because I want to try some of their products for my father. I want something that’s very effective yet won’t cause too much discomfort. The reviews are okay but I’m still looking for testimonials from actual consumers.
We are really trying our best to eat healthy at home. For the past two months, we rarely eat pork and beef, just fish and veggies. However, when summer came, it just got harder to plan the menu. Most seafood are not as fresh and also, we are running out of ideas on how to cook fish. In short, we now eat pork again but we still try to add as much veggies and chicken on the rotation.
Speaking of healthy, you wouldn’t believe how much effort The Husband is putting into getting himself back into shape. He doesn’t eat a lot of rice, runs three times a week, lifts weights when he’s not running and plays basketball when he’s not running or lifting. I’m really proud of him and although he’s complaining that his weight is not changing, the new regimen shows on his face, chest and arms and he’s much stronger now, compared to months ago when he does nothing but eat and sit in front of the TV.
Prepared for the Worst
Talking about funeral costs seems morbid but I’m the type of person who’d rather be ready with inevitable things such as this than have the rug pulled out from under me when I’m least expecting it. Friends who lost their elders talk about how much of a burden it can be financially so why not be prepared when you can? I may sound insensitive to others but I will do this not just for my elders but for myself so my children won’t have to worry about it at all. It’s no different to purchasing an insurance package so your dependents will have something to get by when you leave.
