Cash In, Cash Out
Thanks to my non-existent maternity leave, I’m expecting a not so insignificant amount of money at the end of the month. I wonder if I should splurge it on a vacation, a shopping spree or spend it on another type of investment such as gold bullion? I heard gold is doing great these days. In fact, it’s the most stable investment instrument out there compared to paper and stocks. I have to think about this carefully. I do like to invest but we need new clothes (a month’s worth at least) and a vacation so bad too. This is the problem when your funds are limited. Unlike some people I know, we do have to save before we can splurge on high ticket items, making us enjoy our purchases or vacations more because we worked hard for it.
