Green Cards

Ever heard of recycled Christmas cards? At first I thought it was about re-using Christmas cards but I soon learned that they are talking about used materials. And what a great idea right? Sending “green” Christmas cards will not only make someone happy but you’ll also be helping the environment. I may try one of them this Christmas so I can do my part as well. They are really trendy and cheap – it cost as much as ordinary cards if not less. That or I could just make one of my own using recycled paper.

Thank God

I work from home. It has been almost five years since I started telecommuting and never regretted not being able to dress up, go to lunches and converse/brainstorm with other teams in person. I love how flexible my schedule is and how I was able to spend everyday with Sandy and see her grow up.

I have no need to treat acne ever. Although my face gets occasional pimples, blackheads and whiteheads, it’s so rare that I often forget the last time I had one. So shallow I know but it’s one less worry from my long list.

For The Husband. I just know Sandy and I are blessed to have him. I always have this dream that I’m not married to him or that I’m still with someone else. Whenever I wake up from that kind of dream, I can’t help but feel relief that it is him, lying down beside me.

That we have a good caretaker for Sandy (and for our home) when I need to concentrate at work. She’s our angel and although she’s not perfect, I’ve never seen anyone who can be as efficient as her.

For mobile gadgets, laptops, wi-fi, iPods and other electronics that could make things easier and convenient because God knows we can use all the help we could get.

Opposite of Cover Up

No matter how much men try to prevent hair loss, it still depends on your genes. I know two guy friends who started showing their high hairlines when they were in their late twenties. What they did is just sport a semi-bald haircut which turned our to be really good. Not only it made the receding hairline less pronounced but the hairstyle made them look better. Just imagine Michael Scofield or Brad Pitt in Ocean’s 12. Still, it depends on your face shape and your weight. Just because a haircut looks great on someone else that it won’t look like crap on you.
