Scrapping Everyday
I’ve been trying my best to scrap one layout daily.
Mich and Aggie are right. Scrapping is the best way to relieve stress. I also like how I get a chance to re-visit old photos and remember the moments behind them. I usually forget our photos as soon as I’ve downloaded it from the memory card and posted them on my blog. Now, I found another way to go back in time and I’m definitely having a blast!
Birthday Layout
Yay! I was able to finish two.
I’ve been feeling really bad about things (see earliest post) so I’ve decided to cheer myself up by making some layouts. Plus, digiscrapping is a good warm up whenever I need to design a website for a client.
Will update flickr for the credits.
Playing Hooky
Spent half the day organizing my kits. I wasn’t even 1/4 done when I saw some old fab kits and I felt that I have to use them asap.
I’ve been wanting to scrap these photos ever since Sherwin took them. The little girl was wearing a dress again so she looks nice and cute with her “chop chop” bangs.
Girls Night Out! Finally!
Just sharing some photos from my recent night out with the girls! I rarely go out because I always feel guilty leaving the little girl alone. However, I haven’t seen my girlfriends for almost a year and a half so I planned the whole post-birthday celebration. We had so much fun. I’ve forgotten how good it feels to talk about men, relationships, clothes and silly gossips.

The birthday girls (that’s moi on the left and tetz)
I also made two quick layouts.

I Scrapped!
No paid opps, no deadlines at work, no sidelines, no backlogs and no Sandy (she’s playing in the other room).
Soooo………..
I decided to organize my freebie kits and old photos to get the creative juice flowing. The result is below. I had fun scrapping again even though I’m not crazy about the final output. Oh well, I just needed something to keep me goin’.
Hopefully, I can keep it up this month so I can resume working on the little girl’s first year photo book.
Oohh it’s so pretty!
I’m still working on Sandy’s first year book and now on my 4th month (hurray). However, I feel so uninspired and pressured to finish it especially now that she’s turning two in four moths. I got tons of freebie kits to work with but since I’ve started earning from blogging, I want to spend some of them to buy new kits.
Just take a look at this one:
It’s sooo pretty and girly and cute! There are tons more that I like but I want to list them down first so I can choose wisely. I have this tendency to buy in bulk whenever I shop online that I’m afraid I might spend all my earnings on kits lol.
Cheers to all mothers
I found time to scrap after all.
No matter how old or how successful we are, we will always need our mothers.
journalling:
the first nights with sandy were so hard. i haven’t had any sleep for three days and I hurt my back trying to breastfeed. when you visited the third day, I can’t help but break down and cry. you laughed at me and told me that everything’s gonna be just fine. this photo was taken the night you slept over so you can take care of sandy.
you were right. sandy has grown up so fast and i’m proud to say that i’ve gotten better as a
mom. still … just because i’m a mom, doesn’t mean I won’t be needing my own mom anymore.
Happy Mother’s Day to all mommies!
quicky cutey
I haven’t had time to scrap lately, what with all the design tasks/contests and paid post coming my way. Sandy’s yaya, Ate Shel left us already so I really need to perfect my time management skills.
I saw this really cute QuickPage made from the In Memory of Miles Kit and decided to make a wallpaper for my desktop.
The TOU for the quickpage is to pay it forward so I’m gonna design a header for Jane’s blog.
One afternoon
I took some photos of Sandy while playing. I love this time of the day because the sun is just right and the little girl is in her best behaviour. I was able to make a layout as well. Credits here.
First Official LO
Finally, I was able to finish not just one, but four LOs. My collection of freebie kits has a total of 15GB already so why not use it? I got so addicted to downloading kits that I can’t turn off my computer without visiting the freebie sites just in case I miss out on a very good one.
They’re all about my little Sophia of course, but soon I’m gonna start posting some stuff about me.
Sandy’s Christmas Calendar
Yipee! I’m done with Sandy’s calendar. Thanks to Alpha for telling me about shabbyshoppe’s calendar.
I’m so excited to give it to our parents. Just not sure how to bundle it.
