Space is everything

Organizing our garage has been a problem for such a long time. It used to be huge that you can even put a table for six people and still have enough breathing space. Now that the family is growing, it’s now filled with several types of junk from baby/toddler toys, old furniture, cleaning materials and more. The cook’s request

We went to SM Makati this afternoon to buy new drinking glasses and other accessories for my mom-in-law’s kitchen. Sherwin and I got really excited seeing the latest in kitchen appliances. He is the cook in the family and when we were just starting, the first thing that we bought was a non-stick frying pan.We couldn’t afford a lot of stuff back then so we only had one pan for all our cooking needs. Which is why I wasn’t surprised to hear Sherwin whisper how he’s planning to buy an entire cookware set once we move to our new home next year.

Decisions..decisions…

If you read my blog, you already know that I’m addicted to home furniture. I just love browsing furniture and planning which bookcase or coffee table to get. My recent discovery is Studio RTA Furniture. They have a huge collection of armoires, chairs, entertainment centers, file cabinets and what-not. I am stil undecided whether we should go for dark or light colors but we’d definitely need a lot of storage spaces. Sherwin loves to hoard and Sandy’s toys alone could fill our entire bedroom.

Foldable furniture?

My favorite pasttime nowadays is to plan the furniture and appliances that we’re gonna buy once we move out of my my mother-in-law’s house. Our new home, a two bedroom condo unit is not that big so careful planning needs to be done. I’m actually thinking of replicating the model units that we’ve seen just so we can save space and still make it look homey. I was browsing several furniture sites when I came across this lightweight folding tables. We can use that in the kitchen area whenever we need to prepare food and just put it away when we’re done.
