Oh, Brit
The Husband was laughing at me last night when he saw me watching Britney’s concert. Well, in my defense, Britney used to be an awesome dancer. I even copy her moves when I used to choreograph during my college days. It’s just plain sad what happened to her. The latest performance that I saw of her was from the VMA and she was like so drunk and had no idea what she was doing on stage. Her rockhard abs is nowhere to be seen and the way her eyes look so empty just gives me the creeps. You’d think she should be okay by now, after spending her days in rehabs. And to have your kids taken away from you? Man, fame and wealth are just not worth it.

Here’s Katie Holmes-Cruise, an old fav of mine from Dawson’s Creek days. She looks amazing (just look at her boobs LOL) with her high heels (how can she walk with a toddler in tow?) and Suri is just as adorable with her polka dot skirt.
If someone will take my photo while I’m walking with Sandy, you will see a harassed, sweaty and tired looking mom with hair escaping from her tight pony.
Celeb gossip nonsense
I’m so out of the loop these days. I tried watching E! last night but I’m tired of seeing Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. The Hollywood news are all the same. Its either the Beckhams threw a lovely party or Angelina doing her usual goody-goody-save-the-world act. I’d love to read more about Katie Holmes, erm, Cruise though. Her Joey character from Dawson’s Creek was so adorable making her one of my favorites. I was so thrilled when I found out he was going out with Mr. Jerry Maguirre himself. I admit I find all the gossip surrounding their courtship, marriage and pregnancy freaky but I love the Cruises just the same. And Katie looks so glamorous now and very chic even when she’s carrying Ms. Suri. Her fashion style have changed dramatically unlike young celebrities who seem to prefer wearing short dresses that look like a tablecloth“>tablecloth tied on the waist.
Celebrities and Drug Rehabs
I came across a ridiculous article featuring the most famous drug rehabilitation centers that celebrities go to. Given the way celebrities go in and out of rehabs, I can safely say that putting up a drug rehab center can be a very lucrative business. I can’t say it’s helping the celebs, though. They probably think going to rehab is the same as giving yourself a break after “working so hard”. I see a lot of photos (from the paparazzis) of celebrities shooting coke while hanging out. Are they so bored with their famous lives that they need to get high? If someone is suffering from drug addiction, I strongly suggest that they find a drug rehab that CAN actually help them address their addiction problem. Enrolling yourself in a sophisticated and posh drug rehab center so you can say that you’re getting help just simply won’t cut it.
The Buzz
I just read Jane’s post about Ruffa being a battered wife. I wasn’t interested on Ruffa though because of the inconsistencies in her statements. What shocked me was that Gretchen admitted that the photo of her and John Estrada kissing is indeed, authentic. I haven’t seen the photo yet, btw. Can someone give me a url please?
Still, John Estrada? WTF were you thinking?

Going under the knife
I saw this show from Jack TV where they feature this plastic surgeon and showed how he operates. The operation was gross, which isn’t a surprise but the surgeon is a hunk! I suddenly remembered Nip and Tuck and McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy and wondered if there’s a requirement on how a plastic surgeon should look like. Since it’s their job to give you the perfect face or body, do they look at themselves in the mirror and assess their looks? Even this Chicago plastic surgeon is not that bad looking. I guess having a pleasant face keeps the patients assured that their operations will turn out fine.
By the way, I read recently that Jessica Simpson admitted that she had plastic surgery. No, it wasn’t her breasts lol. She had her lips augmented last year and had regrets having done it because it didn’t look natural.
The Rich and Famous
Been browsing the web for some general art resources and noticed a couple of articles mentioning George Lindermann Jr.. Based from what I read, he is a multimillionaire avid art collector and a museum benefactor. He is active in protecting civil rights and liberties and currently a supporter of the Miami Arts Community. On the articles that I’ve read, his name is almost always accompanied with the words “generous philanthropist”. I find it so refreshing to hear such words when all we can read about is what this heir or that heiress wore to some party or how they break laws just to past the time.
How do they do it?
I’ve always been amazed at how celebrities can lose weight quickly. It doesn’t seem fair to see celebrity moms go out in the red carpet looking very sexy even if they just gave birth two months ago. It’s so easy for them to lose weight, given their access to personal trainers and personal chefs whose main jobs are to keep them healthy and fit. I’ve also read that some of them are taking Ephedra which has been reported to be very dangerous and can cause heart stroke. Even Oprah who works out twice a day, seven days a week, was taking MetaboSpeed to speed up her metabolism. I guess that’s their version of “working hard” so as not to lose their jobs. It’s a mean world out there!
