Girl’s Best Friend
I stumble upon this Grand Cayman jewelry web site and it’s all I can do not to drool over my laptop. I love luxury as much as the next girl and that’s not limited to jewelry. Not that I could afford them but I enjoy browsing through the latest designer handbag, shoes, watches, gadgets and exotic getaways. But anyway, I digress. See these two beautiful necklace that is within reasonable budget. When I say reasonable, it means I have one whole year to save up for them. And even then, I might feel too guilty to buy! So all that’s left is for me to window shop and dream that someday, I could get one of these not just for me but for my mom and my two girls too.
All of them less than $800.

Desire
For the past four weeks, I saw three friends raving about htc desire hd. My curiosity was piqued so I checked it out myself. After reading the reviews and seeing the photos, I must admit I’d go for it if only I wasn’t happy with my iPhone. The first time I saw Serena and Blair using a blackberry during Gossip Girls’ first season, I swore I want to have one too. Love how you can type with both hands especially for me who loves to chat and email. But there are so many phones right now that lets you do the same thing. It’s up to you to choose which one you’ll be comfortable with. For me, it’s my iPhone but if HTC Desire is as sensitive to the touch as the iPhone, then it’s definitely a great alternative. After getting used to iPhone’s capacitive touchscreen, I haven’t seen any contender that will make me choose otherwise.
Evening Gown for Young Ladies
One of my younger cousins will be attending her first junior/senior prom so I’m helping her look for nice dresses online. We came across these bridesmaid dresses which are also perfect for evening parties and the prices aren’t that bad. She told me evening dresses in the US usually cost $200 and up at their local malls. If only she lives here, I can ask my mom to make her own custom-designed gown. But anyway, here’s what we’re looking at. Aren’t they pretty? Reminds me of my own Junior-Senior prom where I wore the ugliest square pants, which in my defense, was so popular back then!
Beanie Hats For All
Two of my friends asked a favor from me today. One is to help her compare healthcare job sites for her research at work while the other was to write about her new business – beanie hats. And since I’m all for fun these days, let’s start with this – Beanie Hats.
From their web site:
Are you a gal or guy looking for uniqueness. Somebody who wants to show his individuality… a cute way to express yourself by accessorizing your own person in the coolest and own unique way! Are you creative, smart and funny? Are you the life of the party, the crowd attention grabber? or you just like being you? Whatever it is, these beanies are for you. It comes in the various designs that has no limitations.
Beanie hats are hand-made beanies designed and created by my dear friend, Dolly. If you remember the Bad Badtz Maru hat that Sandy wore on one of the pictures, that one was a gift from her. She can do all sorts of designs so if you want something that is not in their web site or FB page, just email her or send her a text message for your own customized beanies. These are great as gifts or souvenirs to your kids’ parties!

Goal – A New Machine
Geez. I forgot to check the Cyber Monday deals last week. I heard from a friend that they had a lot of Macbooks on sale and some really nice boots from Steve Madden. I wonder when I will ever be able to purchase my first mac? Whenever I start a budget, I get excited and almost delirious from too much wanting. But as soon as I am $100-$150 short, something really cool comes up. Like a great deal on iPhone, Camera, furniture or a travel package that’s just too good to be true. Next year, I vow to get my Macbook Pro by hook or by crook. I only have a few months left before they release the new MBPs so I should start saving all those sideline earnings again.
Shopping for Pants
I’m just loving equestrian clothing! I’ve been seeing these really cute riding pants from fab women at the mall and it’s all I can do to stop myself from asking where they got them. Then one morning, I saw a commercial of Australia and in it was Nicole Kidman, wearing the cutest equestrian pants. So now that I know what to call them, my first stop is Google so I can find something similar. However, the problem with buying pants online is you never know how it will fit. Which is why I am now itching to go to the local bazaars hoping that I can find a nice pair that will fit my expanding hips and thighs. Luckily, this style can hide all the ugly bulges!
Kids and Their Wish Lists
Just saw the wish list of my 3-yr-old niece – an Elmo bath towel set or Elmo plush toy. She has other items from her list so I’ll make sure to text her my cousin to tell her I’ll be getting her the Elmo stuff. Shopping for godkids, nephews and nieces are a breeze now thanks to technology! Just read their parents’ walls on facebook or blogs and voila, no need to ask them what they need. You can surprise them or like in my case, tell them you’re buying the item so they can take it off her wish list. As for Sandy, her only wish as of this writing – Beados.
On The Plus Side
I just receive another baby shower invite on the mail today. It’s my 3rd this month but I’m afraid I still won’t be able to make it. The thing is, Meg still refuses to take formula for when I’m outside only. We also couldn’t store milk anymore because one of our refrigerators broke down. In short, I’m on house arrest unless Meg comes with me to wherever I need to. Anyway, I know this phase will pass quickly so I’m not worried. I just regret not being able to join my friends’ shower parties. I’ll just make sure I order the plus size corsets that the bride-to-be requested. That or the two-piece, red lingerie that I saw on sale at the mall last week. This friend of mine is very proud of her curves so I’m pretty excited to shop for her honeymoon outfits.
Zara Kids Lookbook
Lovin’ these outfits from Zara Kids. Too bad our weather is too warm for most of them. Still, I know it won’t stop my mother-in-law from shopping there for her precious granddaughters!
