Oh, Batanes. I wonder when we’ll get to see you.
While my girlfriends are talking about all natural diet pills that work on Skype, I’m busy browsing through Pinterest for nice family shots. I’m afraid I don’t have anything to add to their conversation so until they start talking about something that I can be useful, I’ll just spend my time pinning things.
Pinterest is just amazing. I could be online there for hours and not get tired. So much inspiration, creative works and ideas that you can’t help but feel like you want to do something as beautiful. For now – I am looking at family shots hoping that we can have our own photo shoot at home. It’s been a while since we had our last decent family portrait.
Here’s a quick re-cap of our Christmas in pictures. I never regret nagging the husband when it comes to taking photos. No matter how busy or stressed we are, having our pictures taken is a high priority. They always come out nice. Which makes you forget all the small holiday-related issues and just focus on the big picture. Pun intended.
The boys. Megster and the Husband.
My little model. She wasn’t smiling because she said models are supposed to be serious.
Now that’s the Sandy that we know.
Finally, a decent shot of Meg.
Sandy watching her video message from Santa. Priceless. You can watch it here too.
Chirpy, her favorite toy as of today.
I’m an expert on skipping events to blog. And this post is another evidence of that. However, I just love this photo so much that I just have to share it with you!
See these girls? These are the daughters of my online friends. We met about 5 years ago just by blog hopping and look at us now. Even our kids are now hanging out and having fun together! I just love it. We have playdates now too, not just coffee meet ups. And this coming November 27, we’ll have our annual early Christmas party to celebrate not just Christmas but our anniversary as online friends.
Photos taken from Sam and Migo’s party.
I can’t have enough of digital cameras! I’m currently looking for a cheap Panasonic LX3 or LX5 but first, I need to dispose my fairly new point and shoot, Canon iXus 80. Let me know if any of you are interested. It has motion and face detection technology, 18 shooting modes, 8MP and uses DIGIC III Image processor, the ones used in DSLRs. You can read about it here. It’s rarely used, just as a backup when we are too lazy to bring the Husband’s 40D.
Christmas is just a few days away. I’m happy to note that our lights in the living room has just been upgraded so I’m excited to have our annual family photo shoot. I hope Sandy will cooperate this year. She’s been a little stubborn lately and I’m worried she will choose that exact moment to throw a tantrum. I’ll have to make sure she’ll wear something that she likes, her footwear will not be too tight and that she had enough sleep or rest so she won’t have any reason to be cranky. Threats don’t work anymore since she’ll most likely end up crying, therefore ruining the kodak-happy-moment. So yeah, all I can really do aside from the mentioned above is hope that the family will have at least ONE happy, nicely shot photo as a memento for 2010.
We attended two more birthday parties this month. Aside from early Christmas parties, the month of November is usually fully booked with birthday parties from the MBAP/Twitter family.
The first party was the joint celebration of Sam and Migo. Love the Safari theme and the newly renovated Greenmeadows. Sandy had so much fun playing in the playground with her Papa while I had an amazing time catching up with the ladies while taking advantage of the yummy food carts!
See my big princess below. She’s turning 5 in 12 days and needed a new photo for her birthday party invite. We wanted to have a photo shoot at the Manila American Cemetery but there were too much going on that day so we just did it at home.
Here’s the result of our afternoon photo shoot. Can’t believe she’s all grown up now. *sniff*
My darling big girl with her baby brothers and sisters.
