On Travelling
I noticed that out of the country vacations are popular these days. The family yahoogroups and forums that I visit are filled with tips on planning a uneventful getaway, getting a visa for a yaya and numerous urls on where to find cheap packages from Kissimmee vacation to Caribbean cruises and more. It made me think that there are so many things that I have yet to do. I promised myself that I will visit all our beaches first before I go anywhere outside the Philippines. I don’t think it will possible now that we have a toddler in tow. Maybe when she’s old enough to be left behind.
Some people are just lucky
A very close friend of mine migrated to Virginia and she just can’t stop telling me about their new place. His husband got transferred there and the package included relocation for the whole family. I’m very happy for her but a bit envious, I admit. They are currently living in a medium sized one-bedroom condo but what makes me want to strangle her whenever she boasts about their home is because they live beside the beach. How lucky can you get? I’ve never been to Virginia but I would love to go there. I saw this Virginia Beach vacation rentals and I just can’t stop daydreaming about it. The two bedrooms are huge and they have their own exercise room and pool. Both bedrooms are oceanfront, overlooking the beach! I’ll have to keep this on my list when I visit my friend in the near future.
