Last Minute
After designing a banner ad for a ski rack, I feel like I need a break. However, I can’t rest now since Meg will be having her first birthday bash tomorrow. I need to finish printing the stubs, fixing the seat plans and other last-minute party preps so we don’t have to worry about them in the morning. There’s also the cake needing to be picked up and the games and music to be burned so I can give it to the party host tomorrow. Anyway, wish us luck! I’m really excited for Meg (who couldn’t care less) and Sandy (who I know will enjoy it more).
June 1st
I know it’s been awhile since I blogged but as usual, work gets in the way. I’m in the middle of researching for used bar equipment but I decided I should write a post for my birthday month. And since I can’t do a long one, let me just blog bits and pieces on what’s going on with me.
As mentioned above, June is my birthday month and Meg’s too. Party preparation is in full mode. Only two more weeks to go !
Meg is so huge now. She’s not walking yet but she can stand on her own for a few seconds. She still cruises and crawls a lot. In fact, it’s her favorite way of moving around. She’s very fast for her weight. One minute, she’s dancing in the middle of the bed and then standing behind me, supporting herself with my chair or cabinet the next. She babbles, shouts and copies anyone that I’m wondering if she’ll be as chatty as her Ate.
Sandy, on the other hand is about to start school next week. I’m so excited for her yet a bit nervous too hoping she can make the 6AM travel and still have enough strength for her 7AM class. She loves her school now after seeing the video they presented during orientation. She also finished her summer ballet class and was supposed to join the recital. Except it’s going to be the same date as Meg’s party.
We were really so torn at first but she was the one who said that it’s fine. Still, I know she was a bit disappointed so I need to make it up to her somehow.
Work is still amazing. I am thanking Him for continuously sending projects my day.
Health for the whole family including my parents could be better but I am still thankful that we are hanging there.
Have a great June month all of you!

Surprise Gift
I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to search for trampolines new york but couldn’t find the one that my online friend wants. We and twelve other friends are going to pool some money to give our friend’s son this special gift. Most kids his age dreams to have a trampoline inside their backyard and he is no exception. Even I would love to have one if only we have a backyard as big as theirs! Anyway, I hope we could fine one just in time for the birthday of our friend’s son. We want the item to be shipped and ready for his backyard party.
Upgraded
I wanted to shop online for htc desire hd because of the huge discount that I found but it turned out that my credit card company is not accepted. After feeling disappointed for a few minutes, I admit I was relieved because the Husband decided to have an iPhone instead. It was a good thing that the purchase didn’t go through. As soon as he told me that he prefers an iPhone, even a second-hand one, an online friend tweeted that she’s selling her barely one-year-old 3GS for a very good price. We immediately grabbed it so the Husband is now a proud iPhone owner. He never really cared about high-end phones before but when he realized how convenient it is to email, watch YouTube, Facebook or Flickr on my phone, he got hooked!
A ChubaMeg Update
I haven’t downloaded her 9th and 10th month celebration. But let me just post a few instagram photos with her milestones.
At 10 months:
She’s everywhere. She cruises a lot, crawls so fast from one place to another, stands on her own for 1-3 seconds
She knows how to get off the bed properly. Just say “FEET FIRST” and she will turn her body so that she’s on her belly with her feet dangling on the edge of the bed as she carefully checks if there’s something near that she can step on
She’s a picky eater, hates all mashed food including gerber bottles. But give her a pasta and she’ll clap and squeal as if saying “magnifico!”. She loves her spaghetti a lot that she can eat it everyday. She also eats fresh fruits like avocado, banana, melon, papaya and drinks a lot of water (finally!)
She can say ADEE (for ate sandy, I think) and dedede when she wants to breastfeed. She babbles a lot, sings, dances so well and loves to watch Pororo, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dibo, Timmy Time and Spongebob! Even if she’s crying, as soon as she hears the ending song of Spongebob, she will stop, kneel down and dance.
She knows how to do the following: Hello (hand on her ear), Oh No! (both hands on the side of her head with matching UHHHMMMMM), clap your hands, dance (side to side, jumping up and down, do the twist, put your hands in the air, maarena), High five, praise the lord, where’s the light.
And I know I said this already but she just looooooves dancing to Macarena. She puts her arms up and sometimes over her head. When you sing a slow song, she dances slowly too, just twisting her body from left to right with a silly small smile.
I could go on and on but to cut this long post short, Meg is just one adorable baby!
Is Blogging Soon!
For now, it’s too hot to get started. But I will definitely start updating again. I miss blogging and I owe it to Meg to continue recording her milestones the way I did with her Ate Sandy.
Safety
Thank God for 5th wheel warranty! My friend managed to get home safely when she was stranded during last week’s storm. This is why I myself refuse to drive. NO matter how much my husband nags me, I can’t bring myself to learn. I’m too scared to get stuck in traffic, storm or any other unexpected disasters. Plus I’ve seen so many road accidents that I can’t imagine myself being the one controlling the vehicle. I know I need to learn one of these days but if I can put it off, I will.
To Have Unlimited Shopping Funds
Before I research for Thyroid imbalance, let me just share with you my latest WANTS. I have no idea how or when will I be able to buy any of these but online window shopping gives me a certain high preventing stress from ever entering my system. I know these kind of posts make me sound like a shopaholic but who cares. I wish I could buy them but the best thing I can do right now is look. And look, is what I’m going to do

To-Dos: Shopping
So many things to do today but on the bright side, they all have to do with shopping. First, I need to shop online for wrestling tights and head gear for my nephew. He will compete next month and this is my gift to him.
Next, I need to get a quote for a wireless printer so we can finally have a decent working printer here at home. The husband insists on a wireless one ever since he saw our pediatrician’s. He loved the idea of being able to print directly from his iPhone or wherever you are in the house that he can’t wait to compare prices.
And saving the best for last, I am shopping for warm clothes for the girls! They both have grown so fast in the past couple of months that it’s time to get them new set of jackets, sweatshirts and long sleeves in time for the rainy days.
I am Dzoi, a 28 year old Filipina who currently works as a web designer. I am a loving wife to my equally loving husband Sherwin and a mommy cow to my 2-year-old daughter, Sandy.
